IVAN LARDSCHNEIDER
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Ivan Lardschneider was born in Bozen on January 16, 1976.
After primary and secondary school, I attended the art school in Selva di Val Gardena, and I graduated from Gessellenbreif for sculptors. I've been a freelance sculptor since 2005.
My first big appearance was in the Ladin museum “Micura de Rue” at the Triennale Ladina, after which I worked with galleries in Paris, Saint Paul de Vence, Rome, Milan, Turin and Berlin.
My works were also at the Venice Art Biennale in 2011 and 2017, I have also taken part in numerous competitions where I got a 2nd place in the artistic design of the railway line in Selva, as well as a 1st place in the same competition 2 years later (the work was not realized because the costs were too high and the community had unnecessary funds).
Recently I was chosen for the art design of the church in Milland (South Tyrol) where my work “I go Home” will be exhibited on October 13th.
